Health Care Assistants

All our health care assistants receive a comprehensive induction to client care systems, training and staff shadowing before undertaking any paid assignment. HCAs will provide:

• Support to the nurse in charge
• Be competent in challenging clinical situations
• Understand the ethos of working in a secure environment
• Work effectively with service users and follow care plans
• Document care in clinical notes
